Our vision is to see a Shan living fellowship in all the countries where the Shan people live. We want to see Shan believers grow in faith and in their walk with God and able to live and share the gospel of the Kingdom to their own people. We want to see a Shan Outreach Center establish, as a resource center for evangelism, discipleship, leadership training and mercy ministry (education, relief and development). In Chiang Mai, northern Thailand, we have a resource center in the Santhitam area called “The Meeting Point” where we have a small group of Shan and Thai believers that we regularly gather for small fellowship. We provide skills and training for them by teaching English, guitar lessons, baking classes, and other creative activities. We have an inter Tribe Church called “The Meeting Point Church” every Sunday where most of the members are university students. We do have a discipleship program among them, and have small group meeting in several outskirts of Chiang Mai. We do prayer walks around the city and do friendship evangelism. In Fang, a small town 150 km. north of Chiang Mai, we have a small Shan fellowship and a church planting team that engage in evangelism, follow-up works and mercy ministry. We also operate a literacy program for Shan and Thai children, where we take in children who do not have an opportunity to go to school, and give them basic teaching in Thai, Shan, English and Math, and basic knowledge about the Bible. Your team is invited to come and partner with our mission which is to evangelize and make disciples, plant cell fellowships, train Shan Christians in basic discipleship and church planting, produce literature and worship songs in the Shan language as well as provide basic physical and educational needs of refugees especially children through relief, education and community development assistance. Exciting things are happening and we invite your team to join us today!
