The Khmu people are originally from Laos but immigrated to Thailand a long time ago. Today most of them live along the border of Chiang Rai province high in the hills and mountains. The church is located in the village of Huay Jor near Mae Kong, right across the river from Laos. The pastor and his family have been ministering to the Khmu people for many years now, and have recently begun to reach out to several surrounding villages. Your team can invest in the lives of the Khmu people through English teaching, Bible study, ministering at the local school and participating in activities with children. You will also have the opportunity to encourage people in the village and surrounding areas through worship songs, testimonies, encouraging words, as well as praying for the sick. The Khmu people are friendly and hospitable, and they invite you to come and experience their way of life. Together, we can proclaim the love of God to this village and beyond!
